Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Government of India flagged off the inaugural service of 14715/14716 Sriganganagar– Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Humsafar Express on 27th February, 2017 through video conferencing from Rail Bhawan, New Delhi. The inaugural run of the train Sriganganagar– Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Humsafar Express will be run as special Train No. 04715 Sriganganagar– Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Humsafar Express ex Sriganganagar at 15.00 hrs on Monday which will reach Vasai Road at 20.30 hrs on Tuesday 28th February, 2017 and will reach Tiruchchirappalli at 07.00 hrs on Thursday, 2nd March, 2017.
· Sriganganagar– Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Humsafar Express via Vasai Road
In its regular run w.e.f 02.03.2017, Train No 14716 Tiruchchirappalli– Sriganganagar Weekly Humsafar Express train will depart from Tiruchchirappalli at 23.30 hrs on every Thursday and will reach Vasai Road 12.10 hrs on Saturday and will reach Sriganganagar at 15.15 hrs on Sunday
Similarly, in return direction, in its regular run w.e.f 07.03.2017, Train No 14715 Sriganganagar– Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Humsafar Express train will depart from Sriganganagar at 00.25 hrs on every Tuesday and reach Vasai Road at 03.35 hrs on Wednesday and will reach Tiruchchirappalli at 13.30hrs on Thursday.
It will have Three AC 3 tier Coaches and Pantry Car.
The train will halt at Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Bangerpet, Krishnrajapuram, Banaswadi, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belgaum, Miraj, Sangli, Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehesana, Palanpur, Aburoad, Marwar Jn., Jodhpur, Bikaner, Suratgarh and Hanumangarh stations in both the directions.
